B4-N Headless
The B4-N from the RUINOUS Blade Series is covered in game changing features designed to help out the serious players who are tired of mass production centered bass guitars. A good bass guitar starts with a thoughtful approach to the player’s needs, built from the highest quality materials, and wrapped up in head turning style.
Custom Headless Tuning System: Our tuning systems are built from the ground up, with all stainless steel parts. It uses a snap in tuning key that allows easy turns, unlike the standard knobs used in other headless basses. This key can snap into an optional bridge mounted holder, which can be removed if you want that space clear for palm muting.
Double Locking String Retainer: Less pressure is required with a double screw locking system, preventing string slippage/ breakage. All other headless bass systems on the market involve a single locking screw which leads to premature string breakage.
Extended Sustain: Our B4-N uses a 1/4” thick TUSQ nut, along with a zero fret, and tilted 14’ angle for precision seating of strings, and extra sustain.
Interchangeable Strap Buttons: Our XL 0.85” strap button is great if you prefer to keep your strap on, otherwise you can switch this bolt for our standard size strap button. Each instrument comes with sets of both and rubber gasket strap locks!
Easy Eject 9V Battery
Heavy Duty Threaded Inserts : Our neck joints are rock solid thanks to skipping the screws and instead using bolts and stainless steel threaded inserts
Industrial Quality Materials: All fasteners are hex head stainless steel, meaning no stripped heads when using them. Guitar pickguards and knurled knobs are made with aero space grade aluminum!
Out of This World Output Jack: The angle and placement of our output jack keeps your cable from interacting with your body, while still being easy to see while you plug in. The direction of the output tips upward to prevent someone from unplugging your guitar by standing on your cable.
Unparalleled Ergonomics: Using our patented fragmented body design the upper horn and arm rest wrap around your ribcage. This belly curve helps relieve the discomfort of playing for long stints.
Double lap cutaway: to get the perfect balance during classical position and standard. The B4-N has a hooked lower horn to prevent the instrument from ever slipping off your lap during intense play
Built In Thumb Rest: All Ruinous guitars in the Blade Series have a large ledge to rest your thumb and palm regardless of where your picking along the string
Pelican VAULT Tactical Guitar Case: All our guitars are made with immense care and detail, and it seemed only logical to find the most durable travel case to keep them in pristine condition. Our tactical cases have a handle at center and top of the case. Built in caster wheels to role along, dense cushion foam that fits like a glove, several locations for locks/ zip-ties if you travel with it, and more than anything else the long history of quality builds that Pelican Cases has earned
Stainless Steel Jescar Frets: All Ruinous instruments come stock with stainless frets, glued in to prevent lift
Jumbo Fret Markers: All edge markers are high visibility
Richlite Fretboard: The most dimensionally stable fretboard material prevents the need for oiling, and will never cause fret sprout. This synthetic material contains the same resonant qualities as ebony/rosewood.
24 frets+ Zero fret: The lower horn leaves 4” of clearance to reach even the highest frets!
Carbon Fiber Stiffening Rods: Along with our double action truss rod we stiffen our necks with carbon fiber rods.
