6S - GTO
The 6S-GTO from the RUINOUS Blade Series is covered in game changing features designed to help out the serious players who are tired of the mass production centered guitars. This design is meant to be our most souped-up model yet, with our body design rebuilt from the ground up!
Knurled Tuning Heads: Hipshot Griplock open gear tuners, held in place with threaded inserts and hex bolts
Fully Recessed Controls: This makes guitar history, being the first set of easy to see and adjust knobs that are also flush with the guitar’s top. The new step down design in the body allows you full strum mobility without colision plus split second roll back/up of your volume/tone pots. Our step down design still keeps 70% of the knob face accessible with a quick touch. The electronics are mounted to a stainless steel pickguard housed internally in the body for added strength. This is all built around the top of the guitar with a 0.75” step down leading to the second surface of the body’s top.
Gotoh Tremolo: You asked for it, and here it is! Our Floyd Rose licensed GT1996T has risen in the ranks to be labeled as a better build quality than Floyd himself these days. This trem comes with a 36mm brass block.
SureClaw Spring Tensioner: Any guitarist who has used a floating trem knows the bane to its existence is keeping the bridge leveled. The double screw system in guitars is archaic and clumsy, which is why Schaller’s spring tensioner is a gamechanger. It uses the same Allen key for the rest of the guitar to gradually tension the springs. Its adjustment is accessible through a small hole in the backplate, making the need to remove any covering to adjust your trem a thing of the past!
Interchangeable Strap Buttons: Our XL 0.85” strap button is great if you prefer to keep your strap on, otherwise you can switch this bolt for our standard size strap button. Each instrument comes with sets of both and rubber gasket strap locks!
Easy Eject 9v Battery
Extended Sustain Headstocks: Our 6S RSG uses a 1/4” TUSQ nut, along with a zero fret for precision seating of strings. The thick logo plate on our headstocks adds mass to allow extra sustain and resonance. Our headstocks have a 14’ scarf joint for optimal string tension and strength
Heavy Duty Threaded Inserts : Our neck joints are rock solid thanks to skipping the screws and instead using bolts and stainless steel threaded inserts
Industrial Grade Materials: All fasteners are hex head stainless steel bolts to avoid stripping while using them. All plates, pickguard, and brackets are made of marine grade stainless steel. Knurled knobs are made of aero space grade aluminum
(Trem spring cover included)
Out of This World Output Jack: The angle and placement of our output jack keeps your cable from interacting with your body, while being visible while plugging in. The direction of the output tips upward to prevent someone from unplugging your guitar by standing on your cable.
Unparalleled Ergonomics: Using our patented fragmented body design our upper horn and arm rest wrap around your ribcage. This belly curve helps relieve the discomfort of playing for long stints
Neck Joint Slope: The whole lower horn and neck joint tapers to allow additional room for your hand on those high notes. Plus it looks pretty dang sweet
Extended Reach Cutaway: The lower horn on our 6S-GTO tips down to prevent slipping on your thigh, and makes a remarkable 5” space to reach even our 24th fret without touching the body
Pelican VAULT Tactical Guitar Case: All our guitars are made with immense care and detail, and it seemed only logical to find the most durable travel case to keep them in pristine condition. Our tactical cases have a handle at center and top of the case. Built in caster wheels to role along, dense cushion foam that fits like a glove, several locations for locks/ zip-ties if you travel with it, and more than anything else the long history of quality builds that Pelican Cases has earned
Carbon Fiber Stiffening Rods: Along with our double action truss rod we stiffen our necks with carbon fiber rods.
Additional Options: During the checkout process you will get to choose from our customizable options, such as paint color, fretboard design, electronics, etc. You can see examples of these in our Options Page
If you have an idea for features not listed in our standard custom options then choose the option for a Custom Build and work directly with the lead luthier on a unique guitar/ bass.
This includes switching the tremolo system for a hard tail option.
